HAZARD COMMUNICATION PROGRAM

"Employers by law must provide information to employees on any hazardous chemicals known to be present in their facility.  The information must be provided to all employees who either work with or could be exposed to hazardous chemicals."

COMPSOLVE will provide:

  • CHEMICAL AUDIT - Detailed audit of all chemicals present in the work areas of the facility.
     
  • CUSTOM WRITTEN HAZARD COMMUNICATION PROGRAM - Chemical control plan typed manual detailing the facilities policies and procedures for handling chemicals.
     
  • HAZARD COMMUNICATION TRAINING - Detailed training session with a thorough review of the entire regulation.  MSDS recognition.  Labeling   guidelines and how to handle chemical related accidents/ emergencies.  ***Followed by a Question & Answer session.
     
  • CUSTOM MSDS LOG BOOK- Complete log of all Chemicals used in the facility based on the chemical audit.
     
  • HMIS LABELS- Labeling of All Secondary Containers that lack the  Appropriate Mfg. Labels

RESPIRATORY SAFETY PROGRAM

 Includes a thorough overview of the respiratory safety regulation.  Topics covered in training include:

  • Proper fit and maintenance of respirators
  • Proper selection guidelines for respirators
  • Practice wearing respirators
  • Conditions in which respirators are to be used

COMPSOLVE will provide:

  • CUSTOM RESPIRATORY SAFETY WRITTEN PLAN - Written  manual designed for your facility covering the entire regulation and your policies for respirator usage.
     
  • EMPLOYEE TRAINING SESSION - Covering the above mentioned topics followed by a question and answer session.  Followed by a   Question and Answer session.
     
  • TRAINING LOG - Summary at the end of the written plan where employees sign off on the training session.
     
  • FIT TESTING- All Employees that are issued Respirators for use in the facility will be properly fit tested.
     
  • COMPSOLVE will additionally supply Two (2) Vapor organic respirators along with Organic Vapor Cartridges and Particulate Filters.

 

LOCKOUT/TAGOUT PROGRAM

 Lockout/Tagout was designed by OSHA to prevent serious injury and death while performing setup, repair or maintenance on machinery.  Today you must properly Lock and Tag machinery, making it impossible to energize from its power source.

COMPSOLVE - will provide:

  • ENERGY AUDIT - Audit of all powered equipment used in your facility.
     
  • CUSTOM ENERGY CONTROL PLAN - Detailed manual containing the Company's policies and procedures for lockout/tagout, including listing all powered equipment used in the facility and the lockout/tagout method to be used.
     
  • LOCKOUT/TAGOUT TRAINING SESSION - Covers how to perform lockout/tagout, when to perform lockout/tagout, what devices to use for lockout/tagout, who is responsible for lockout/tagout and the consequences for not performing lockout/tagout.  Followed by a Question and Answer session.
     
  • LOCKOUT / TAGOUT DEVICES-1 Set Of Locks (QTY. 3), Tags(QTY. 10) AND Lockout Devices(1-Plug Lockout, 1-Breaker Lockout Single Pole, 1-Breaker Lockout Multiple Pole)
     
  • TRAINING LOG - Summary at the end of the written plan where employees sign off on the training session.


PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT PROGRAM

 Employees must be trained on proper use of all protective gear to be worn in the workplace.

COMPSOLVE will provide:

  • HAZARD ASSESSMENT - Audit of facility for potential hazard and correct safety gear to be worn around such hazards.
     
  • CUSTOM PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT WRITTEN PLAN - Detailed manual containing all policies and procedures for   the proper use, selection and maintenance of safety equipment.
     
  • PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT TRAINING SESSION - Thorough review of all safety gear to be worn from head to toe. Make sure employees can demonstrate the proper use and maintenance of all personal protective equipment in the facility. Followed by a Question and Answer session.
     
  • TRAINING LOG - Summary at the end of the written plan where employees sign off on the training session.


FORKLIFT SAFETY PROGRAM

 Employees must be trained in the safe operation and use of tow motors/forklifts.

COMPSOLVE will provide:

  • FORKLIFT TRAINING SESSION - Overview of safe operation, maintenance and capacities of tow motors. Followed by a Question and Answer session.
     
  • TRAINING LOG/SUMMARY - Summarizes Forklift training with area for employee signatures.
     
  • FORKLIFT OPERATOR TEST- 25 point OSHA Fork Driver Test given to all Fork Truck Operators.
     
  • FORKLIFT SAFETY WALLET CARDS- All employees who pass the above test are issued laminated Forklift Wallet Cards Valid For 2 Full Years

     

FIRE SAFETY AND EVACUATION PLAN

 Covers- exit routes, fire extinguisher locations, proper employee exit, individuals responsible for head count and designation of key personal for chemical handling and storage.

BLOODBORNE PATHOGENS / EXPOSURE CONTROL PROGRAM
